Seattle’s November

Whoa it’s been so long for me not to post anything here. I can hardly remember my password for this blog! LOL :p

i made this one in November 2009, in my first months of staying in Seattle, United States.. I dedicate this for my close friends in Seattle. :)

We are trapped in a new world

A world where you and I cannot stand on our own two feet

Day by day passes, problems are solved, stories are made

We might not be alike

I might not be the perfect one

But when I see you turning to me, I know that I would be perfect for you to rely on

You may feel that you are on your own and nobody’s listening

You may think that life is something hard to face

But look, here I am standing before you

I am here and there, around you everywhere

Now what are you afraid of?

For I will be everything I am, and we will share the best of ourselves

What you worry is what I am concerned about, everyday and always

I will not let you go and I will keep you safe because I simply want to, not have to

But we both have our own missing pieces

Too far, beyond hope, beyond rational thoughts

Then what if we can’t reach them anymore?

They’ll be gone, sooner or later, either tomorrow or in the next five years

Well I suppose holding onto each other is what we can try to do

There are times, when home just seems impossible

It’s always a gloomy day, such a gloomy day

Rain, don’t take me away from happiness

But what do you know, I have found a treasure, a friend, which brings me home

Let’s face life with a thousand smiles, for there will still be a thousand miles to go through

And when you feel you’re too tired to carry on, do not hesitate to call

When you seek for strength, just let it be me

When I am lost of hope, I’ll let it be you

And when people ask what true friends really are,

…. Let it be us.
